Our Leadership
New Song leaders serve under the headship of our Lord Jesus Christ, by the guidance and teaching of God's Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit. Our leaders are also accountable to the church body as a whole. We believe in a plurality of Elders in accordance with the teaching of Scripture in 1 Timothy 3 and the example of our Lord Jesus in appointing the twelve to share in the leadership of the church in the Gospels and the book of Acts. John and his wife Pat have been part of New Song for over 30 years and married longer than that. John and Pat have two grown children and several grandchildren, they love the outdoors and the community we live in.

Jason and his wife Leah have been married for 26 years and have three adult children. Jason has been the pastor here at New Song since 2020 and feels privileged to be in this position. Jason and Leah love spending time with family and playing pickleball.

Clayton and his wife Courtney have been part of the New Song family just about as long as they have lived in Gunnison. They have two amazing boys and love spending time on the lake, hunting, fishing, and car shows.
